Spring Thaw Canvas Print

The snow is melting, creating rivers and creeks where none existed. It was one of those warm days, the first when one could get outside to paint. I was driving down the highway, saw this scene and got off at the next exit so that I could paint for a bit. It was lucky I did since we got six more inches of snow as soon as all of the snow was almost gone. The original is beautiful with its' wooden frame that matches the trees and the brown mat that pulls it all together.
